Christmas Extravaganza

Join us for the 4th Annual Christmas Extravaganza!

Our 4th Annual Christmas Extravaganza! | Sunday, December 7 from 2:30 - 6:30 P.M. | Join us for a Christmas Celebration like no other! We encourage you to invite friends, family, and neighbors to a FREE night of Christmas joy and community.

2:30 P.M. - The Fair Trade Market Opens

Shop fair trade gifts for everyone on your list including coffee, chocolates, candles & oils from sources both local and international. Items have been specially curated and provided by our local partner, 10,000 Villages. As in past years, we will have SOCKS available through the WeHelpTwo program. For every pair of socks purchased, another pair of socks will go to a person in need in our local community.

3:30 P.M. - The Christmas Concert Begins

The SMCC Choir performs Vaughan William’s Fantasia on Christmas Carols led by Dr. Peter Green, accompanied by Lisa Edwards & a chamber orchestra.

4:00 P.M. - Christmas Craft Workshop Opens

Hosted by our Children's Ministries and the SMCC Nursery School, this workshop is perfect for young families! Celebrate the joy of Christmas with festive crafts, music, and cookie decorating! Please note, there is a suggested donation of $25/family for the workshop. Help us with planning by registering in advance here.

4:00-6:30 P.M. - A Festive Community Dinner

Stay after the craft workshop and concert for dinner: grilled bratwursts and hot dogs (thanks to our Men’s TREK group!), hot cider & cocoa, and dessert waffle batons!

5:30 P.M. - Courtyard Tree Lighting

Gather in the Courtyard for a carol sing-a-long as we light our tree to a live music accompaniment. We hope to see you there!
