Sunday Seminar: America at 250

Join Rev. Stuart Gordon, Dr. Ron White, and Dr. Jesse George-Nichols for our Spring Seminar series

Our seminar theme this year is America at 250 and we will be blessed to enjoy the instruction and leadership of Dr. Ron White, a member of San Marino Community Church and respected American historian. You may not know another member and American historian, Professor Jesse George-Nichol. Jesse is a graduate of Princeton University and the University of Virginia. Her dissertation on the American Civil War won the St. George Tucker Society's Bradford-Delaney Dissertation prize. For the first of these seminars, Ron and Jesse will help us consider what's in the Declaration of Independence, a text of foundational importance, but one we may have not read in a while. You will have time to enjoy their insights, followed by time for questions and answers. We hope that the January gathering will pave the way for several meetings and discussions about the continuing significance of the Declaration of Independence. These seminars are free to attend and open to all! We encourage you to invite people in your life who would be interested in discussing these topics.
