Each year, San Marino Community Church hosts a campaign to receive Estimates of Giving for the following calendar year. Estimates of Giving are pledged financial commitments that support the annual operating budget, and these estimates give the church the opportunity to make wise and responsible fiscal choices.
2025 Campaign: The Next Step
This fall, we will begin the second year of our three year Stewardship Campaign. We know that the second year is bound to be more challenging than the first — we’re no longer at the start, and we’re not yet near the end — and so we hope that you will continue to stay united together in the journey forward. This past year brought us toward the crest of the mountain and gave us glimpses of a new, refreshing view, but we are not yet to the other side.
Over the next few months, you will receive materials from the Stewardship Committee about the ongoing financial health and needs of the congregation, as well as information on how to support the ongoing campaign. For those who joined us last year, we hope that you will continue to contribute to the ongoing initiative. And for those who are new to the church (or new to the practice of giving to a church), we hope you will join in! Whether you attend San Marino Community Church every Sunday or just once a year, whether you’re able to give thousands of dollars or just a few, every contribution to SMCC is valuable because you are valuable.
Join us for a Stewardship Kick-off on Sunday, October 6! Following our Combined Service & Special Meeting of the Congregation, join us in the Courtyard for a limited-edition giveaway, freshly brewed Philz Coffee, and HomeState brunch tacos as we take The Next Step and launch our 2025 Stewardship Campaign!

Event: Chili Cook-off
Our annual Chili Cook-off will take place on Sunday, October 20, 2024. We hope you will join us for an afternoon of friendly competition and a lot of delicious food! Members of our Youth Ministry will serve as our esteemed judging panel. Anyone who enters a chili of their own will earn a prize and have a chance to win the Grand Prize.
