Dodging Drama: Thanksgiving Dinner Part 2

Part two of Experiencing Thanksgiving Meals Differently with Scott Delahooke

Experiencing Thanksgiving Meals Differently

We have all experienced this at some point in our lives. We are scheduled to have a holiday meal with friends and family, but based on past meals together, we know there will be a few people that will get under our skin. They’ve always got something to say that will make us feel uncomfortable or outright angry. Our typical responses are either one of three - fight back, retreat, or emotionally disappear.

But what if there is another approach which opens the possibility of a truly different experience for our, and potentially others, at the table? I hope you will join me on this journey as we explore how to be aware of our activation and ways of shifting our anger into curiosity.
